ArcusX was born from the need to create a fairer, more efficient, and accessible freelancing platform. Our journey reflects a constant commitment to technological innovation and improving the experience for both clients and workers. 🌴
Origins
The project began in 2024 with the vision of leveraging blockchain technology to solve fundamental problems in the traditional freelancing market. We identified three main issues:
Excessively high commissions that significantly reduced workers' income
Slow payments and bureaucratic processes that created friction
Geographical and banking restrictions that limited global access
Technology Choice
After evaluating multiple blockchains, we selected Stellar for its unique characteristics:
Fast confirmations of 3 to 5 seconds
Minimal transaction costs
Stable and proven infrastructure
Focus on payments and remittances
Supported by the Stellar Development Foundation
The integration with Trustless Work allowed us to implement a robust and secure escrow system without needing to develop smart contracts from scratch.
Development and Evolution
Phase 1: Foundation

The third phase introduced protection mechanisms:
Complete dispute resolution system
Administrative panel for conflict management
Bidirectional cancellation and refund system
Security validations to protect both parties

The current phase focuses on optimization and continuous improvement:
Cache and debouncing system to reduce server load
Optimization of polling intervals
User experience improvements

Current Status
ArcusX currently operates on Stellar Testnet with all main functionalities implemented and working. The system is optimized and ready for Mainnet migration once the audit process and exhaustive testing are completed.
